A representation of the Elven calendar according to the Reckoning of Rivendell. Unfortunately, it wasn't possible to show the Enderi - the 3 middle days of the year - Yestarë and Mettarë - the start and end days of the year. They are such a small percentage of the calendar year that they just wouldn't have shown up in the picture.

The start of a series showing the evolution of the Music of the Valar - the Music that was commanded by Iluvatar and that foretold the world and its contents. At the start of the music the Ainur rejoiced in the song, lifting all their voices into melodies woven in harmony which flew throughout the dwelling of Iluvatar, into all the depths and all the heights.

The second of a series showing the evolution of the Music of the Valar - the Music that was commanded by Iluvatar and that foretold the world and its contents. Melkor started weaving his own ideas into the musical themes, and this caused discord among the Ainur, some falling silent, some changing their tunes. And above this, Melkor wove his own patterns, seeking a greater share of the Music.
